Jón Hróbjartsson (1877-1946) was an artist and teacher in Ísafjörður. Besides making maps, he did many paintings of Westfjords land- and townscapes that today are very sought after.
Note that while the larger version is close to accurate scale, the smaller one is far from it. Meant for display purposes, not navigation.
